Jen Carfagno
Jennifer
"Jen" Carfagno was born on July 18, 1976. She is a American
meteorologist on television. Carfagno was raised in Collegeville in
Pennsylvania. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1998 with a
bachelor's degree in meteorology. While at Penn State, Carfagno worked as an
intern at The Weather Channel and was recruited by the channel shortly after to
be an official meteorologist full-time. She was a part of the Weather Channel's
meteorologist on camera apprenticeship program, and was in the front of the
camera on weekends. Between 2013 and 2016 Alex Wallace and Carfagno hosted
Weather Center Live the show, which was broadcast on Thursdays and Fridays at
6:00 AM , and on Saturdays at 7:15 AM. Carfagno's Twitter page shows that she
has a following of 993,000 on April 20th 2018. The page also shows an activity
level of around 21,300 tweets. She was a student at Perkiomen Valley High
School, where she was an instructor of swimming. In 1998, she began her studies
in Penn State University and received an undergraduate degree in Meteorology.
Jen worked as an intern at TWC in her final year of school.
