Ayelet Zurer
Ayelet Zurer one of Israel's best
well-known actresses is a very special woman. She was born in Tel Aviv and was
first discovered by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first
English-speaking role , Eric Bana’s wife in Munich (2005). Zurer is an American
actress who has been featured in Studio films, such as Sony Pictures' Vantage
Point, with Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt), Samuel Goldwyn’s Fugitive pieces
opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected along with Jeff
Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons opposite Tom Hanks.
Darling Companion is an ensemble movie by Lawrence Kasdan which includes Diane
Keaton and Kevin Kline. Warner Bros. Man Of Steel along with Russell Crow. Ewan
McGregor filmed Rodrigo Garcia, Last Days in the Desert, and she eagerly
awaited the release of The Last Knights, a film directed by Kazuaki Kiriya,
opposite Clive Owen. In recognition of her performance as Hostages as the lead
actress she won the Gold Nymph Award at the 54th Festival of Television held in
Monte-Carlo. Ayelet won the Israeli Film And Television Academy Award for her
performance as the lead in Nina's Tragedies. She also received nominations for
her performance in the films Only Dogs Run Free, The Dybbuk from the Holy Apple
Field, Desperado, and Rutenberg. She was also honored with the Haifa
International Film Festival critic's award and was a guest in Haifa's
"film Boulevard" for her international and regional achievements.
Zurer won the Israeli Television Academy Award, for her part in "In
Treatment" which was a highly well-reviewed series of television that was
adapted for American television by HBO. 2014 saw her nominated apposite for the
best drama of the year "Shtisel". Zurer was also named the best
actress in drama for playing an outstanding surgeon facing a life or death
choice in Hostages. The show was telecast to BBC4 and Canal Plus as well as the
American ABC. She is the "face " of one of Israel's top women's
fashion companies- Golbary. She is a producer and writer. Ayelet has been
working on a couple of her own projects in Israel as well as the US she has
expressed the desire to collaborate with directors from all over the world,
believing in joining unknown writers and directors as well as the well-known
ones.
