Angeles in 1970. Shortly after the birth of her daughter, her parents moved to
Dallas, Texas. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School of the
Performing and Visual Arts in the city center of Dallas. Later she received a
BFA diploma from Stephens College in acting and was also a student at British
American Drama Academy. She spent six years at Dallas Theatre Center as well as
a year with Encore Company. Prior to her debut on the big screen, she started
her career as an actor in the theater. Her stage credits include "As You
Like It""A Funny Then It Happened on the Way to the Forumâ€
"Measure for Measure", and "Chicago" in addition to as
numerous other productions. Her most memorable performance came in the role of
Angelina Jolie in Michael Cristofer's highly acclaimed HBO Telefilm Gia (1998)
which made her a favorite to critics and audiences alike. Her charismatic
acting talents were evident in the science-fiction action film Frequency (2000)
and with Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute. Elizabeth Mitchell has many credits in
television shows, theaters, and movies. She continues to be a great actor. The
actress broke her nose during the filming for the movie Frequency (2000). In
1994, she did a Hertz Rent-A-Car commercial but "they pulled it because of
the O.J. thing." In 1995, she lived with boyfriend David Lee Smith
(ex-Brent on the soap One Life to Live (1968)) in Manhattan's Upper West Side.
They live in Dallas with their parents who are tax and estate lawyers. After a
long time in the theatre as Rosalind her return to the U.S. after having been
in Europe for a while. Her parents moved to Dallas, Texas shortly after she was
born in LA in 1970. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the
Performing and Visual Arts located within the Arts District of downtown Dallas,
Texas. She received her degree from Stephens College in 1991 and was awarded a
Fine Arts Degree. The last part of 2001 was spent as Cyd in a role with Ioan
Gruffudd. The show aired in during March 2002 on BBC 1 TV.
