Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow, born December 18th, 1979. Her role in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most known. Also, she is known for her character of The Armorer in The Mandalorian, the Star Wars live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily was also a part of the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December 1979 in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. She started acting in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville in the year she was a student. Swallow received a BA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She continued her studies towards an MFA in Acting in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was one of the stars in the world premieres of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also appeared alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsin the production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] In 2010 she was awarded the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also appeared alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theater Club. The show is about their hilarious mishaps as they deal with very diverse life circumstances.
